Welcome to the NEW IMPROVED AVON BEACH website

We have been running a seaside resort for over 75 years, and pride ourselves on our service to the customer. Situated in Christchurch, nr Bournrmouth, UK we overlook the Needles and Isle of Wight. The views are stunning whether it is sunny and bright or the wind is whipping up the waves, and the clouds dark and moody.



Our beach is approximately a 1/4 of a mile long and is a mixture of sand with some shingle. Good for making those sand castles that stand the test of time, but unfortunately not the test of the tide.

Our facilities include an extremely popular watering hole, the Avon Beach Cafe, which is open every day (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day). The Cafe offers fantastic breakfasts, and homemade meals. Or if a beverage is all you require just try our delicious hot chocolate with whipped cream, flaked chocolate and marshmallows.

If you don't want to miss out on the great weather you can get hot and cold snacks and drinks from our increasingly popular take-away cabin. We also have a veritable Aladdins Cave of a shop which sells everything from newspapers, magazines and books, to buckets and spades, beach and leisurewear, not forgetting, of course, a vast selection of ice creams.
