Avon Beach Shop

In 1962 the beach shop was established by Vic Derham. Originally nothing more than a kiosk he has built it up into what you see today.

Now we are not just a bucket and spade shop! Along with a diverse selection of magazines and newspapers we like to think we have somthing for everyone, including unusual gifts and toys, seasonal leisure wear,a wide range of jigsaw puzzles and confectionary from old favourites like 'Mr Tomms' and 'Sherbet Fountains' to the younger tastes of 'Sour Candy' and 'Fizzy Straps'.

We also have a surprisingly large book selection with over 2000 different titles. Why not come and browse through:-

Our leisure wear section changes with the seasons - in the summer you will find sunglasses, hats, suncream, beach shoes and a variety of beach and leisure clothing including wetsuits. As winter approaches you can find raincoats, fleeces and warmer clothing.

Looking for a gift for someone special? Why not come and browse around and see what you can find - you will be amazed at the wide range we stock to suit all ages and budgets. Holiday favourites such as sticks of rock, fudge and biscuits can alwways be found yet we also have ornaments, Dunoon China Mugs and many other items. We are always looking for unusual ideas so come in and be inspired.
