By Car

From Christchurch, take the A35 out of Christchurch, heading towards Highcliffe. Cross straight over the first roundabout carrying along the Christchurch bypass. By Sainsbury's cross straight over the second roundabout into Highcliffe Road B337. At the 3rd roundabout go right into The Runway, this road changes into Bure Lane. About half a mile you come to a sharp bend that goes round to the right. Turn Left before turning this corner. At the end of the road you will find our car park. The brown tourist sand castle signs will also direct you to us.

We have parking for 100 cars and if we are full there is a car park behind ours. We operate a charging system between Easter to the end of October, from 8.3Oam until 6.OOpm, so you can park free of charge during those lovely summer evenings the car park will be locked at the time stated on the car park hut. From the end of October until Easter we only charge week ends and school holidays, so the majority of the winter is free parking. The car park attendant will explain our charging system to you and conditions, if any, that we have at the time of your visit.
Disabled parking is available for wheel chair users.

Parking is strictly at the users own risk, Avon Beach does not except any responsibility for loss damage to persons or property.

By Train

There is a train station in Christchurch, from there either catch a taxi from the station or walk out of the station to the main road. Bus stops are along this section of the road which will take you the short distance to Christchurch centre. If you are able, walking to the centre of Christchurch will only take 5/10 minutes. Here you are able to pick up the bus that will go through Mudeford, the stop required is the Beach Approach stop along Bure Lane. Then you only have a short walk to the beach.
